LIBRARY RULES

  • Library remains open from 8.00am to 8.00pm. On Sunday and other holidays remain closed.
  • Every student / staff reader who enters the library will sign in the attendance register.
  • Return of the borrowed book is mandatory before the due date. A fine of Rs.1/- per day per book for delayed return.
  • Books can be renewed once, before the due date, if there is no pending reservation against it.
  • Golden card holder & topper students who are appearing for competitive exam. (GPAT/NIPER/ ETC.) Extra two books will be issued.
  • Rough handling, mishandling, tearing of book or underlining with pen or pencil will not be allowed.
  • Encyclopaedias, IP, BP,USP, year books & other reference books & rare books will not be given outside of the library.
  • The journals and periodicals will not be issued outside the library.
  • All journals and periodicals should be kept in their respective place after use.
  • Readers are not allowed to remove the newspaper from newspaper stands.
  • Do not modify the computers in e-library section&sitting arrangement in reading room.
  • Do not write / scribble on any wall orfurniture of the library.
  • Please switch off fan/light/computer while leaving reading room.
  • Outsiders are not allowed to use the library and reading room.
  • All readers are required to maintain silence and discipline in the library.
  • Talking & gaming is not allowed so please switch off mobile phones or keep mobile on silent mode in the library premises.
  • If library book is lost by the reader, he/ she will have to pay due amount of book or replace the same book.
  • Readers should preserve their belongings or valuables; library department is not responsible for any belongings.
